Ahh yes my baby is becoming a Boy! He has found his wiener! And when you ask"Timothy, where is your wiener?" he will glady put his hands on his wiener! He is a typical male. He can not walk yet or even say a word (other than his babels) but he can show you he knows where his wiener is!
Monday the 11th Timothy will begin his daycare! Being a stay at home dad for now I do not know how I will like it. It will be quiet in the house, very quiet! But since I have yet to find a teaching position, even though school does not start until the 25th out here, I am at liberty to go and pick Timothy up from day care at my leisure. Sarah and I plan on just putting him in for a half days to start. Easing him (and us) into the process. We know he will do fine. He is such a social baby and especially loves seeing little ones his size. Our only concerns are 1. he likes to bite! 2. he is not really big yet on someone he does not know putting him down for a nap. But these people are professionals so I am sure they have seen it all!
I know we are lacking in the picture department but as soon as the new computer arrives later this month I will be able to upload plenty of pictures.
Other Timothy updates, he is standing up for almost 10 seconds or more at a time, but once he realizes he is doing it, he makes sure to sit down! He babbles but they do mean something, for instance TI TI is when he sees the dogs, NA NA means he is sleepy, and DA DA (his first word or babble) is for anything he likes. He has said MA MA to but not sure what it is for yet.
We are moving him off of baby foods and starting him onto human food! Can't wait for those diapers! He also walks with the assistance of his baby toy that he pushes. And he is a climber.
Timothy also began swim lessons at the YMCA. He loves the water! Unfortunately he is the only one in his class. So he does not get to interact with other babies.
As far as Sarah and I go.. Sarah finished her CPA exams! All she has to do is fill out some paper work and she will be finished with that! And I am still searching for a teaching position. Very frustrating finding a job but hopefully one will come soon.

Welcome, Greetings, and Vacation!
Hello,
We (Sarah, Timothy and I) have finally created our own little blog world. We PLAN to hopefully keep everyone up to date with what is going in our world, but more importantly, we want everyone to see how Timothy is growing! He is almost 11 months. How fast a year has gone.
Recently we returned from Sandwich, Massachusetts where we enjoyed a much needed 2 week vacation. Sarah's father Randy and step mother Mary live in Sandwich, which is on Cape Cod. Gayle, Sarah's sister was also with us. During our visit we did SO MANY things. bear(corect one?) with me as I recount all of our activities that we did. And they are in no particular order.
-Gayle and Sarah enjoyed doing some kayaking at the Hoxie Pond while Timothy and I remained safely on land!
-We visited the Plimouth Plantation (yes it is spelled that way) which is a great recreation of what life was like for our early English settlers. At the plantation you encounter settlers who interact with you and tell you what life is like for them. They are seemingly trapped in the year 1627 as well are the surroundings. You can go inside the fort, houses, and barn to experience what life was like for the early Americans...SWEET!

-During one of our trips up to Boston we stopped at Harvard University where Gayle is considering going to Graduate school. We also took a tour of Fenway Park. Yes can you believe it, me, the die hard arrogant Yankee fan that I am stepped foot into Fenway? But I must say being so into history as I am and respecting the Red Sox although I hate them, it was an awesome experience to see Fenway. Before we returned to Sandwich, we stopped off at the U.S.S. Constitution or old "Ironsides", a very famous ship during the War of 1812.
-We took in one Cape Cod Baseball League game. For anyone who knows about baseball they know how many professional players have ended up playing a summer in the CCBL. Summer Catch a movie with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jessica (HOTTIE) Biel is based off the CCBL
-The beach was visited many times by us. Timothy LOVED playing in the sand with the beach toys that Grandpa Randy and Nana Mary got him. Although he seemed to like to try out the taste of rocks and sand just a little bit more!
-We stopped off at the Fish Hatchery a few times. A nice free place to check out and feed fish.
-An American tradition and a Constitutional right is always practiced when we visit Randy, we go to the shooting range! A friendly (good thing it is not violent!) competition of shooting Randy's .38 at the targets is always had, even though the winner is always Randy. But honestly nothing makes you feel more like an American than shooting a gun!
-Randy and Mary took us to two different friends of theirs that are profesional glass blowers. They demonstrated to us their art and how magnificent pieces of glass can be manipulated to make just about anything. What impressed me even more was the amount of team work that goes into glass blowing. Sarah was able to try her hand at it and she created a paper weight! It actually looks pretty good!
-Timothy got to enjoy his first Carousel ride at Main Street Hyannis.
-A night of Karaoke was also enjoyed as Randy and Mary sang Crocodile Rock, Gayle charmed us all with the Dip Song, I blasted Sir-Mix-A-Lot's Big Butts, and Sarah showed us why she is defiantly a better accountant than singer as she belted out Aretha Franklin's Respect.
-We went to Boston another time to visit the Ernst and Young (Sarah's company) Boston office, which was not on the agenda. Sarah accidentally dropped her lap top which needed immediate open keyboard surgery. As we waited for the news from the IT staff we walked around parts of downtown Boston. A strong rain storm came rumbling through so we, like many other tourists/residents took shelter near a beautiful church. While waiting for the storm to pass we were greeted by one of Boston's finest hobo's who dazzled us with his four letter speeches!
-Sarah, Gayle and I enjoyed some mini golf. With 6 holes left and trailing by 4 strokes I was able to battle back and win!
-Fourth of July in New England is an incredible place to be. There is an honest and true Americana feel in New England during the 4th. Our day was very eventful! We were able to walk in the Sandwich Parade, campaigning for Mass. State Representative Jeff Perry. We all donned red Perry shirts and Sarah and Gayle even made Timothy a Jeff Perry t-shirt. At night Sandwich has an event called the boat parade. At the Hoxie Pond contestants enter their creations to be judged by the crowd who are enjoying music from a live band while overlooking the pond. Friends of Randy and Mary's built a boat which resembled a fire truck and had the Sandwich FD letters on the side. The boat pulled a small dinghy which resembled a house. We did absolutely nothing in creating this boat, but when it came time to manning it they needed me to help oar. Some of you know I am terrified of water but sometimes you just do what you got to do! Long story short our boat was the crowd favorite. For the crowds enjoyment we lit the small dinghy on fire, turned on the lights and sirens and went in to rid the house of the flames with our fire extinguishers. What made the crowd really enjoy us was another entry was titled Shipwrecked I believe, it was some kids who literally were shipwrecked. With some great improv within the boat we fired up the siren and horn and proceeded to save (although we really just rowed right by them) the sinking party. Our boat ended up winning a trophy and some prize money.
-Probably the best activity we did during our stay was we were able to meet Mitt Romney, who will hopefully be our next Vice President. We attended a fund raiser for Jeff Perry and Mitt Romney was speaking at his engagement. A very amazing experience!
-And to cap off the whole trip the day before we left Randy had purchased concert tickets for the band THE PLAIN WHITE T'S at the Cape Cod Melody Tent. It was a really good show and we had a lot of fun laughing at how crazy 13 year old girls act and how good their dads are to take them.
So that was our trip! We had a lot of fun and I will add pictures here soon.
